Mission
The mission of ServeNext Action is to ensure that the next Congress and President pass bold legislation in 2009 that will reinvigorate our nation’s commitment to service and address our nation’s most pressing challenges.
This includes:

Expanding AmeriCorps to 250,000 annual members by 2012,

Expanding Senior Corps and Learn & Serve America, and
-
Expanding the Peace Corps.
To help achieve this goal, ServeNext Action is mobilizing citizens in communities across the country to engage their congressional candidates and ask them to sign a pledge that supports this goal. After the elections on November 4, 2008, efforts will move to ensure the new Congress and President pass bold legislation that supports this level of expansion.
